Pastor Picknally was born and raised in New Jersey. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College). While attending RBC, he met his wife, Olena, and they were married in 1996. Vern then attended Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, IN and received a Master of Divinity degree in 1999. He pastored Bethel OPC in Carson, ND for nearly 12 years before he came to Bethel Reformed OPC in 2011. Vern and Lena have been blessed with three adult children: Vera, Ivan, and Nadia.
